Year 3 visit the Natural History Museum

Science and history trip to the Natural History Museum.

All of year 3 went to the Natural History Museum to enhance their learning of rocks linked to their history and science lessons. They got to see over 123,000 sedimentary, igneous and metamorphic rocks collected around the world during the past 250 years. The children were amazed to see rocks from Arctic and Antarctic expeditions. They even got to see rocks from the world's largest mountain - Mount Everest!
