Our Vision

Vision for Vicar’s Green Primary School

Vicar’s Green Primary School is a highly successful and happy school with a caring ethos. Our teaching staff, non-teaching staff and governors are dedicated professionals, who are fully committed to ensuring that every child reaches their full potential.

Here, every child’s contribution and achievements are valued and acknowledged.

We have high expectations of learning and behaviour and strive to reach standards that make us really proud. Together, we work proactively to improve the provision for all our pupils. Our aim is to make a difference and to improve the life chances of the children.

We aspire to:

  • Provide an engaging, stimulating and creative curriculum which challenges pupils of all abilities
  • Maintain our standard of academic excellence
  • Build a culture rooted around the British Values of democracy, rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs
  • Work in partnership with parents, governors and the wider school community
  • Offer pupils a wide range of cultural experiences to complement our curriculum
  • Develop a team, who are highly trained, motivated and ambitious in all aspects of school life
  • Create life-long learners, who become resilient and responsible citizens of today’s world
